Laurie Lane, the founder of Laurie Lane Design, graduated with a Bachelor in Arts as well as a Management Certificate from University of Rochester. My career started in finance having worked at MFS Investment Management in Boston, then as an equity trader in New York City.  However, while my career in financial services was rewarding, I always had a passion for the fine arts.  After several years on Wall Street, I returned to school to pursue my passion for design, graduating Magna Cum Laude with an Associates in Applied Science in Interior Design from renown New York School of Interior Design in Manhattan.

Having lived abroad in Italy, studying both art and architecture in Florence, and having traveled extensively throughout Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Greece, Hungary, England, Finland and Russia; my love for international travel has been an enormous inspiration for my design work.

I offer my clients my expertise and a fresh perspective, helping them envision a space and achieve results to create a beautiful and comfortable destination.  I work closely with my clients in a partnership to attain the results they want to achieve using my design triad, which includes function, comfort and beauty.  By listening to my clients we create spaces together that render their vision a reality.
