This beautiful room is flooded with amazing natural light. It’s architecturally detailed windows are framed with neutral draperies. The natural furniture complements the contrasting coffee table, fireplace, drapery rod, accent chair and pillows. The lighting fixture above provides a focal point bringing your eye around the room.
This stunning interior by Laura U Interior Design has eccentric character with Moroccan shaped bookcases, dark wooden ceiling beams, hanging pendant glass fixtures and colorful accessories to make for an inviting and unique interior.
I love the feel of this room with the old married to the new. From the old rustic beams, the concrete floor to the new clean lines of the modern furniture and rod iron and candle fixture. The interesting centerpiece and side table add to this modern yet rustic interior.
This open interior flows beautifully from one space into another. The clean lines in the geometric dining chairs play against the modern circular lighting and black and white photography with pops of floral lime accents on the table. This is carried over in the back of the bookcases accented with lime green. The red chairs add a punch of color to draw your eyes in to the design. The herringbone dark floors ground the entire elegant space.
This interior by Kelly Hoppen has beautiful clean lines that are enhanced by textures from the animal print chairs, the leather textured pillows, to the natural white corals and the texture in the pattern of the wood in the fireplace. Although you can have a neutral toned room textured fabrics and accessories can add richness to any interior.
So this is a photo of Patrick Dempsey’s living room at his Malibu home. The wall of firewood provides a focal point with the fireplace and also provides a wall of art. One questions though do you really need that much firewood in Malibu?! Love the earthy and natural feel of the room though. It is a place that looks welcoming as a cozy place to lay down and read a book.
What a cool design, maybe not in your everyday dining room, but what fun it would be to have a swing at the dining room table. Life is too short to sit stationary.
Who ever thought shag would come back…but this is a whole new take on a chair!
