This stunning living room really mixes the old with the new! The intricately detailed fireplace is a beautiful centerpiece to the room. The modern glass coffee table with bright yellow floral and book accents is complemented by the older arched display shelving with the back wall in a powder blue accent. Painting the back of any built-ins really adds a beautiful highlight to any room. It makes the architectural detail pop out at you. The contrast of the older antique side table with a modern silver lamp adds another elegant accent to finish off the room.

What a beautiful escape! The deep eggplant accent wall adds an elegant feel to this lovely bedroom. What a great touch having the stripes wrap around the bedroom alternating from white to the eggplant color; with the finishing touch of the sparkling chandelier which reflects the light and color around the room. The white furniture accents add a beautiful contrast with the dark eggplant shag rug grounding the design.

This is one of my latest oil paintings.

Although this smaller apartment has a blank white canvas as a backdrop for the walls and some of the furnishings, this interior allows the colorful artwork to pop and make an impact as each individual piece stands out in its space. This is similar to an art gallery with all white walls which really accentuates the artwork. If you want to bring in color and/or change the feel of a room art can really transform a room!
